To celebrate National Nurses Week, JetBlue, the New York-based airline, decided to show their appreciation and gratitude to healthcare heroes by offering them roundtrip flights for two to anywhere the airline flies from July 1, 2020 to July 1, 2021. Any active healthcare worker is eligible, from doctors and nurses, to pharmacists, therapists, social workers, public health administrators and more.
"They've earned our love, our gratitude and some serious R&R." it says on their page. "To thank healthcare heroes across the country, we're giving away 100,000 pairs of roundtrip flights–so they can take a vacation when the time is right.
Nominations will be accepted by May 15. All you have to do is to to fill a brief form on JetBlue submission page and give the short description of achievements of the healthcare hero you are nominating.
Millions of medical workers around the world have faced the challenge to provide the care for patients with Covid-19, risking their own lives to save the lives of others. Let's not forget their dedication, professionalism and sacrifice and express our gratitude to our frontline heroes.
