Have you just gotten back from a dream trip and are struggling to settle back into a day-to-day life? 1. Give yourself a little break before you get back to work

The major reason that people get post-travel blues is that it’s difficult to transition back into the same old routine. However, just because you’re back home doesn’t mean life needs to be boring. When you finish your trip make sure you keep organizing new experiences. Have dinner at a new restaurant or go for a nature walk in a place you’ve never been to before. Make an effort to keep things fresh and exciting so you can stave away those post-travel blues.

3. Weekend away

Just because you’re back home doesn’t mean your adventures need to end! Organize a weekend away to satisfy your travel lust. It’ll be a wonderful way to fall back in love with your local area and perhaps discover new cool spot you never heard about before! 4. Spend time with friends

When we travel, we usually face some challenges: learn new things, try to speak foreign language, transform our outlook on life. When this ends, we can feel emptiness. Find yourself a challenge! Learn 20 new words in French or read the books about the countries you have visited.


6. Write about your adventures or make a photo book
